Project Manager

The general role for Project Manager includes managing the LIN SCAN operational projects at corporate office and LIN SCAN subsidiaries. LIN SCAN operational projects involve (but not limited) the mobilization of the resource to the Oil & Gas fields, servicing the Oil & Gas pipelines, arranging field surveys and field verifications, demobilization of equipment upon completion and Reporting. The candidate will lead a project team, producing, executing and controlling the project budget.
Job Responsibilities:
- Technical review of Tender documents, Request for Quotations
- Review of cost estimates before bid submission
- Contract review before project handover
- Report to Territory Director during weekly project review calls
- Planning and coordination of activities
- Ensure all project related info is entered in ERP
- Plan internal and external KOM
- Place all necessary requests and check with Resource Manager on resources
- Review assigned budget from Sales
- Request site assessment
- Request Tool Manager, Logistics (supply chain) & Data Analysts for their services and agree on dates (Handshake)
- Request Task to Tool Manager
- Request Task to Logistics
- Request Task to Data Analyst
- Create Purchase requisitions when required
- Job Safety Analysis
- Have a briefing meeting with relevant parties when required internally
- Obtain written approvals from customers prior to run & have focal point identified from customer side prior to mobilization.
- Realization of field activities
- Payment milestones / Invoicing
- Follow up on Invoice approvals
- Report upselling and cross selling opportunities to Sales
- Ensure tool/Manpower rent is paid on time.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant);
- Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate;
- Min 10 years of operation planning experience;
- Experience in Oil and Gas sector or EPC contracting;
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level;
- Excellent English language skills (written and verbal);
- Ability to travel.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
