Position Summary:
PIPECARE Group specializes in providing advanced in-line inspection and integrity services for pipelines, consistently exceeding industry standards set by the Pipeline Operators’ Forum (POF).  Founded in 1998, we serve national and international pipeline operators across more than 85 countries. 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & marketing Director to join our team in the Eastern Hemisphere, specializing in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve company targets in the Eastern Hemisphere.

The ideal candidate will Identify and pursue M&A opportunities that align with PIPECARE’s growth strategy, enhancing both organic and inorganic expansion. As a leader you will leverage personal networks to enhance business development and cultivate relationships with senior decision-makers in pipeline inspection and oil and gas operations across the region.

General responsibilities:
  • Drive Market Expansion: Spearhead initiatives to outgrow the market by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within the Eastern Hemisphere.
  • Innovate Sales Strategies: Continuously refine and innovate strategic sales plans to ensure they are aligned with evolving market conditions and company objectives.
  • Encourage Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key industry players to enhance PIPECARE’s market presence and competitive edge.
  • Enhance Team Capabilities: Implement training and development programs to elevate the skills and performance of the sales team, ensuring they are equipped to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Monitor and Report Performance: Establish robust performance monitoring systems to track sales activities, analyze outcomes, and report on progress towards achieving strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outgrow the market where PIPECARE operates
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets in the Eastern Hemisphere.
  • Identify strategic M&A targets that align with PIPECARE strategy & allows us to grow organically & inorganically.
  • Bring with him/her their own network of contacts. Identify and cultivate relationships with senior decision makers in Pipeline inspection / Oil and Gas operators across EH
  • Lead, manage and train the sales team to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the ILI space.
  • Collaborate with other departments & WH to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Establish an in-depth knowledge of competitive pricing, market rates, and market dynamics to assure an acceptable win rate at acceptable margins.
  • Work closely with Project Management, D&A, R&D and TM/Production teams to ensure that customer needs are being met in regards to all projects for the two job types.
  • Represent the company in exhibition and conferences. Be willing to present technical content at these events.
  • Develop, approve and execute Territories’ sales and marketing plans and strategies, form the budget accordingly, set specific objectives and performance criteria, which are consistent with the group objectives.

  • Administrative Management: Continuously manages administrative functions to ensure quality and timeliness, manages accurate and timely sales activity and performance reports, analyses report data to project trends and build forecasts.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record in sales leadership roles within the inline inspection industry.
  • Strong network of contacts and relationships with decision makers
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed within the EMEA region.
  • Strategic thinking and a results-driven approach to sales. Knowledge of porters 5 forces theory
  • Experience working with SALES FORCE and sales analytics tools.

Accountability:
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and ensure competitive pricing and acceptable win rates.
  • Expand beyond the market where PIPECARE operates by developing and implementing strategic sales plans.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with senior decision makers in the Pipeline inspection / Oil and Gas sectors across the Eastern Hemisphere.
