PipeCare Group is looking for an experienced PMO Training Specialist to join our team in Jordan.By providing technology and service focused solutions to the international arena of the oil and gas industry, the PipeCare Group of companies has been helping our customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years.Industry/sector: Oil & Gas / In Line Inspection services.Position Summary: the general role for PMO Training Specialist is developing, delivering, and maintaining targeted training programs that ensure workforce readiness and competency for successful project execution across PIPECARE operations. PMO Training Specialist is responsible for supporting operational and technical teams by aligning training programs with project lifecycle stages, ensuring personnel have the knowledge, skills, and tools to meet performance expectations and quality standards. The role involves collaborating with technical experts and departments leads to promote a culture of continuous development and performance improvement.Key Responsibilities & Authorities- Conduct periodic training needs assessments for technical and project teams to identify gaps in workforce development.
- Design, implement, and manage training programs that support project execution, from planning through to close-out.
- Collaborate with technical leads and subject matter experts to create and validate content aligned with operational and project delivery requirements.
- Maintain an organized and updated repository of training materials, assessments, and completion records.
- Design training delivery using a mix of instructor-led sessions, e-learning, microlearning, and blended learning approaches.
- Track training participation, completion, and effectiveness using performance and competency data.
- Incorporate feedback, lessons learned, and performance evaluations to update training programs continually.
- Provide support for onboarding and refresher training to engineering, field, and data personnel.
- Align training activities with key project milestones to ensure readiness at every stage.
- Collaborate with PMO stakeholders to align training planning with operational schedules.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the PMO Director related to training and capability development
Skills/Experience- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years in Technical Training, Learning & Development, or Competency Management within a project-based or engineering-focused industry.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs for technical and project personnel (e.g., field engineers, project managers, data analysts).
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, etc.).
- Proficiency in e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Moodle, or equivalent LMS platforms).
- Experience in designing competency assessments and evaluating post-training performance.
- Background in Oil & Gas, Engineering Services, Industrial Services, or Field Operations is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working across regions and with subject matter experts.
- Experience in creating training dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to quickly adapt and update training content in response to operational and process changes.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support global or regional training efforts.
- Professional certifications in training (CPTM™, CPTD, APTD, or equivalent) preferred.
- Certification or training in project management (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and digital content tools.
- Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal); other language skills are beneficial in a multinational environment.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
