PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. PipeCare Group is looking for an experienced Polyurethane Technician who should have the capability to understand Design drawings, Knowledge of chemicals involved in molding polyurethane and plan effectively to deliver polyurethane on time to meet target dates. Key Responsibilities & Authorities- Producing and repairing Polyurethane using different molds.
- Adequate knowledge of Auto Cad to draw templates.
- Testing tools, dies, jigs or Molds to ensure proper operation.
- Setting up and operates various casting machines to cast polyurethane products
- Position, secure, measure, and work polyurethane stock or castings to lay out for machining.
- Lay outs, shapes and assembles patterns of plastic and other materials from blueprints, models or templates
- Follow all the safety rules & regulations.
- Monitor PU Chemical store Temperature on daily basis.
- Keeps the PU Stock up to date
Skills/Experience:- DAE in Chemical (Preferred) or other disciplines like Electronics/mechanical having related industry experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in production environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
