PIPECARE Group of Companies – the leading provider of inline inspection services in Oil & Gas field - is looking for the Master Planner to join our Team. 

We are seeking an experienced Master Planner who will handle the workforce allocations to meet specific needs of project execution by correctly distributing the workforce to meet the optimal utilization and requirement to successfully execute field activities in an effective and efficient manner.


Key Responsibilities and Authorities:
  • Handle workforce allocation to meet the specific needs of project execution provided by project manager.
  • Plan, organize and coordinated activities.
  • Select the most appropriate workforce to conduct the task in the most efficient manner and complete project scope.
  • Liaise with Project Managers and territory directors on sequence of operations to maximize workforce utilization and even the workload between all personnel.
  • Monitor progress periodically and compare it with baseline planning.
  • Update the schedule based on inputs received from project manager.
  • Prepare progress report.
  • Prepare workforce utilization reports.
  • Accumulate, collect and Analyze data and information required for planning.
  • Provide detailed report to resource manager, with accurate up to date information on routine basis.
  • Analyze and interpret activities to determine the most optimal method of execution as well as provide a realistic timeline to Project Manager.
  • Provide feedback to Project Managers as allocated workforce for them to follow through the planning and service coordination by providing the necessary passes
For the personnel identified.
  • Control workforce field breaks and leaves.
  • Provide necessary training/ certification to meet territory requirements.
  • Resolve all field personnel issues on a local level prior to HR involvement in all matters.
  • Monitor Manpower performance at site / workshop; ensure site team will achieve successful run.
  • Proper allocation of resources to each tool preparation project based on agreed schedules.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate execution of operations project plan with the support of the managers.
  • Maintain tool history on ERP.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management / supervisor.
Skills / experience:
  • A relevant qualification to degree level or an appropriate professional qualification relating to engineering, Project Management, Resource Allocation.
  • Min 5 years of experience in planning; preferably in Industry sector of oil & gas, and with organization that were service provider with NON-standard products and non- regulated schedules.
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent reporting and project management skills
  • Knowledge of ERP management system

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
  • Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
  • Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  • Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
  • Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
