Key Responsibilities & Authorities
 
  • To execute and control Production Planning & Resource allocation for: Mechanical Production and Final Product assembly
  • To supervise the Production department and ensure timely delivery of all the parts on time.
  • To enlist material requirement of 6 months in advance and place order. Make sure 6 months required material is always available in the store.
  • To find suppliers and take quotations from at least 3 suppliers and ensure the best quality of outsource parts are delivered.
  • To review the work orders from ERP daily and make sure all requested jobs are done on time.
  • To arrange manpower if required.
  • To prepare daily status report and submit to TM/Production Manager in daily meeting.
  • To deliver of parts/products on time & as per quality standard
  • To make the selection and maintenance of all production equipment
  • To liaise among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers
  • To work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
  • To ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
  • To supervise and motivate all team of workers
  • To review worker performance
  • To control and optimize the production activities
  • To execute planning, supervision, monitoring and control of fabrication activities in mechanical fabrication, and assembly sections and follow up based on plan and TM request
  • To ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered
  • To ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
  • To control the delivery of parts/products on Time & as per Quality requirements
  • To optimize the Production processes
  • To make the arrangements with outsourced suppliers
  • To ensure all workers are adequately trained
  • To provision Trainings
  • To execute all other tasks as requested by TM/Production Manager within the assigned job role.
  • Ensure daily report of employees are in place accordance to commercial / Internal production plan
  • Periodic audit in store to ensure minimum stock quantity is secured
  • Skills/Experience:
    • Diploma in Engineering or equivalent Industrial experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
    • Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices, machines and tools
    • Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
    • Knowledge of business, finance and management principles
    • Solid computer skills
    • Excellent teamwork skills
    • Ability to manage multiple teams
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, quality focus
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Creative, critical and curious.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
  • Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
  • Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  • Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
  • Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
