VMC Machine Operator

Position Summary
The general role for the VMC Machine Operator is to measure each large and small component to ensure they will fit together properly in the final design as well as is to identify potential problems by understanding machine specifications and drawings before the production process. It shall be noted that LIN SCAN has Subsidiaries around the world and although the Turner reports to the Production supervisor, the responsibility of the Turner is to ensure that all tasks related to his scope of work are executed according to the HSE standards and in accordance with the plan, corporate standards and policy approved by the Corporate Office.
General responsibilities

- Be results-oriented; alert others timely when a task may not produce the required result for LIN SCAN’s final product
- Follow LIN SCAN’s Process Flow Charts and interact with other departments when required
- Assure timely and accurate reporting to LIN SCAN IT Department
- Identify training requirements
- To study assembly specifications to perform the most efficient order of processes required for specific projects
- To measure each large and small component to ensure they will fit together properly in the final design
- To identify potential problems by understanding machine specifications and drawings before the production process
- To assemble metal components
- To polish finished components
- To manufacture metal components and assemble them to construct tools, industrial machinery, and machine components
- To maintain equipment
- To take accurate measurements
- To team up with machinists
- To execute all other tasks as requested by R&D Director or by the immediate Supervisor within the assigned job role.
- ITI Technical certificate / OR Diploma mechanical. (Industrial training institute)
- Minimum 5-7years of experience in engineering/design department for production of design/shop drawings/material submittals
- Prior experience in inline inspection is preferred
- Must be knowledge in Siemens & Fanuc control operating system
- Language: HINDI, English should speak and understand English

Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
