PipeCare Group is looking for an experienced Project Management Officer [PMO] to oversee in line inspection projects.

Position Summary: the general role for Project Management Officer [PMO] is to lead a project team, executing and controlling the project budget. Project Management Officer [PMO] is responsible for the delivering the project in accordance with the contractual Scope of Work, on time, on budget and achieve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities
  • Work closely with Operations Management on Projects executions and timeframes.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate field activities to complete the project scope in the most efficient manner.
  • Assist Project Managers to prepare Project information document, including detailed execution plan with allocation of resources and Project Risk Management Plan. Handle workforce allocation to meet specific needs of project execution provided by project managers and update the schedule based on PMs input.
  • Prioritize the importance of these activities for the Corporate and Subsidiary management team to overcome the shortcomings.
  • Alert on possible slippage timely so that management can take preventive actions and prevent Project execution delays.
  • Liaise with Project Managers and Territory Directors on the sequence of operations to maximize workforce utilization and personnel workload.
  • Advice management on the activities necessary to get Projects back on the planned schedule.
  • Analyze and interpret activities to determine the most optimal method of execution as well as provide a realistic timeline to Project Managers.
  • Monitor progress periodically and compare it with the baseline planning by preparing progress and workforce utilization reports.
  • Provide feedback to Project Managers on allocated workforce for them to follow the planning and service coordination by providing the necessary passes for the personnel identified.
  • Monitor Manpower performance at site/workshop and ensure the site team achieves the targeted number of successful runs. 
  • Cooperate with the Tool Management/Production Department to assure the tool fleet is optimized for all the Projects.
  • Responsible for proper allocation of resources for each tool preparation project based on agreed schedules.
  • Cooperate with Financial Department to optimize the Projects cash flow.
  • Coordinate with other Departments to facilitate execution of operations project plans with the support of the Managers and HR.
  • Execute all other tasks as requested by HOD or Executive Team within the assigned job role.

  • Prepare and participate in commercial project review meeting

Requirements
Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant).
  • Min 5 years’ experience as PM/Contract manager in O&G services business [preferably    working for the pipeline operator/owner or 3rd party downstream service business].
  • Minimum 5-years’ experience in Oil and Gas sector or EPC contracting.
  • Valid PMP certification is a must.
  • Proficiency in general computer skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
