Key Responsibilities & Authorities
- To follow written and/or verbal instructions assemble products to schematics and/or design specifications using a variety of Testing equipment, hand tools including some precision soldering techniques
- To test, troubleshoot and repair completed products and field returns as required.
- To assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to design, engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components
- To operate drills, or other machine tools to fabricate parts, such as coils or other electronics section’s related parts
- Maintain work areas in a neat and tidy manner in line with HSE standards,
- To conduct pressure testing
- To execute all other tasks as requested by TM/Production Manager or by the immediate Supervisor within the assigned job role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education level
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Construct, repairs, restores and installs structures such as floors, doors, walls, windows, stairways, furniture, cabinets, shelves, and roofs.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
