Job Summary: The Procurement and Inventory Supervisor at Pipecare Group will oversee the procurement and inventory management processes within the Inline Inspection (ILI) industry. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services, while maintaining optimal inventory levels to support operational efficiency and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure continuous improvement.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
- Implement inventory management systems and practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with production and project teams to forecast inventory needs and adjust stock levels accordingly.
- Order, receive (GR), and manage minimum/maximum levels for order intake, spares, and consumables.
- Prepare shipments for both incoming and outgoing materials.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with Pipecare Group policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement and inventory performance to senior management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement and inventory management efficiency.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor a team of procurement and inventory staff.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably within the ILI or related industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to travel to supplier sites and company facilities as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
